We have worked with Ink for many years and have always received excellent, timely support. We look forward to continuing that same standard of excellence through the new partnership between Ink and Dala Airport.”
Lucy Goodfellow, Training Coordinator, Dala Airport.
Dala Airport (IATA BLE, ICAO ESSD) is one of the largest and most centrally located airports in Sweden’s Dalarna region, operated by Dala Airport AB. The airfield was built during the Second World War, modernised in 1961, and has a 2,310-meter asphalt runway. The new terminal was built in 1972; since then, it has undergone several refurbishments - the latest being in 2025, which included a new and improved check-in area, security control and departure gates and also new navigation systems. Dala Airport supports a mix of commercial services, flight training and ambulance flights. Outside normal opening hours, Dala Airport offers a 24-hour emergency call-out service, a capability vital for ensuring society’s critical air transport needs.
